Dave Gasvoda began working with B.L. Anderson in 2004 after completing his business marketing degree at Franklin College. He specializes in chemical feeds, instrumentation, project management, marketing, and receivables. He is a member of the WEF, AWWA, and Young Professionals. His experience, including years of family history in the environmental representative industry, makes him a valued part of the B.L. Anderson team.
Dave is the main contact for B.L. Anderson seminars and training sessions.
David Boesch

Previously worked for Frakes Engineering as a project manager, designer.
Sales Responsibilities: Mission Communication, YSI, Swan Analytical, Vega, ABB Drives, Watson Marlow.
Education - 1983 Graduate of Plainfield Highschool
College - 1988 Graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science degree in EET.

Tom Bowman

Over 30 Years experience in the water and wastewater industry
17 years in aftermarket sales for The Henry P Thompson Company
9 years in Flygt pump product sales for ITT/Xylem Water Solutions USA
Various committee work with IWEA and a recipient of the Tumblebug Award

Jim Gronceski
Aftermarket Specialist
Jim has been with B.L. Anderson for 23 years. His areas of expertise are SCADA, VFDs, electric actuators, and flow monitoring. He has degrees in both electrical engineering technology and applied science: electrical technology.
In order to stay on top of a constantly changing industry, Jim has obtained the following credentials and certifications:
- Certified VFD start-up ABB
- Citect SCADA training, programming, configuration
- Steeplechase programming and configuration
- Wonderware configuration
- Confined space entry and safety
- Flow monitoring: Hach, Inventron, Siemens, Rosemont

David McKinley
Sales Engineer
David joined B.L. Anderson in 2018 and is a graduate of Purdue University with a B.S. in Management, Finance, and Computer Science. He has over 17 years of industry and field experience in water and wastewater and has been extensively trained on various facets of processes and equipment - with industry staples such as Ashcroft, ABB, Flygt, Watson Marlow, Rotork, and more!
With a diverse expertise in operations, maintenance, and administration in water and wastewater treatment, David is able to assess any aftermarket issue you may have.
Elizabeth Sharp
Parts, Products, & Service Coordinator
Elizabeth began working at B.L Anderson may of 2016. She began as the Parts and Products Coordinator. As of January, 2019, she has also taken on the responsibilities of Service Coordinator.
Jim Todd
Technician Manager
Jim Todd joined the B.L. Anderson team in 1986. As our tech support manager, he has expertise in start up, operations, and maintenance for any B.L. Anderson supplied equipment such as SCADA systems, chlorine/sulfur dioxide equipment, instrumentation products, integration support for all water and waste water products, and troubleshooting of legacy products.
Jim has completed extensive training and achieved several certifications that make him a true expert in the field, including:
- Legacy products training (BIF, Aquatrol, Autocon, Consolidated Electronics, along with various mag, Doppler and ultrasonic flow meters)

Randy Phares has worked with B.L. Anderson for over 14 years and is an expert in Rotork equipment, control panels, PLC & HMI equipment, UV systems, Siemens instrumentation, and Kaeser and APG-Neuros blowers. He earned his Bachelor's in electrical engineering technology from Purdue University. In order to remain on the cutting edge of technology in the fluid processing industry, Randy has obtained the following credentials and certifications:

Shawn March
Field Technical Specialist
Shawn March has over 22 years of combined experience in environmental systems, industrial motion control, electronic repair, technical support, applications and sales. He earned his degree in electrical engineering technology from ITT Technical Institute and joined B.L. Anderson in 2002. As a B.L. Anderson field technical specialist, Shawn is ready to help any environmental processing plant in Indiana with its technical and engineering needs.
Dave Halicki
Field Technical Specialist
Dave Halicki has been with B.L. Anderson for over 10 years, specializing in pneumatic control systems and pumps and piping systems. He has extensive prior experience in product design and manufacturing for pneumatic control and automation equipment. This, coupled with a degree in mechanical engineering technology from Purdue University, make him a valued member of the B.L. Anderson team.
In order to hone his expertise and stay on the cutting edge of industry technology, Dave has obtained the following certifications and credentials:
- Siemens PS T-3 Flow Technology Training
- ABB Ceritified Drive Start-up Training
- Kaeser Omega Blower School.
Hobie Montgomery
Field Technical Specialist
Hobie has 30+ years of construction background and is a highly mechanically skilled technician.
He has been technically trained on:
- Mission Communications equipment installation and deployment
- Process valves replacement and repair
- Cla-Val start ups, repairs and problem diagnosis
- Kaeser blower startups, repairs and maintenance training
- YSI installations and other instrumentation
- Headworks screen repairs and problem solving
- Numerous different flowmeters and calibrations
Steve Farris
Field Technical Specialist
Steve has over 8 years of experience with industrial power distribution equipment and controls. He is skilled in troubleshooting a wide variety of products and applications. Steve earned his degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Purdue University in 2007. He joined the B.L. Anderson team in February of 2016 and brought a unique skillset.
Steve has been technically trained on:
- YSI Equipment Installations and troubleshooting.
- Multiple manufacturers flow meters and calibrations.
- Siemens Water Industry Products (including ultrasonic level measurement, flowmeters, differential pressure transmitters)
- Watson-Marlow chemical feed pumps.
Additional information on Steve:
- NFPA 70E safety trained.
- Start-up and commissioning of power delivery equipment (including transformers, switchgear, ATS’s, switches, motors, drives, and motor starters.
- Troubleshooting expertise on power delivery equipment.
